CRU Camps is the largest provider of Christian holiday camps in New South Wales, with over 70 action-packed camps to choose from each year! Since 1930, we have been running trusted holiday camps for young people. Campers are given the opportunity to thrive in a safe environment where they have fun and grow!

CRU Camps is a division of CRU – a not-for-profit, Christian youth organisation established in 1930. With 90+ years of experience, we welcome over 3,500 campers on over 70 camps across NSW and WA each year.

Great value

We work hard to offer great quality programs at the lowest possible price. The cost of the camp includes all activities, meals, accommodation, excursions, 24-hour supervision and transport (for camps outside of Sydney or Perth). No hidden costs!

CRU Camps offer over 70 camps a year with a huge variety of unique activities. As such, prices vary across each camp.

Sponsorship

We want every child to enjoy the CRU Camp experience and generous supporters help make this possible through a Sponsorship Fund.

If you are unable to send your child on a CRU Camp for financial reasons, we encourage you to apply to CRU's Sponsorship Fund or call the CRU office on 02 9874 8933.

Waiting lists

CRU Camps are very popular and fill quickly. If a camp is full, we encourage you to register your child on the waiting list in case we are able to open more spots or another camper cancels thier registration.

Registering for the waiting list is easy:

  • You do not need to pay any of the camp fee.
  • You can register for as many waiting lists as you like. We will contact you as soon as a place becomes available on one of the camps. At this point you can choose to accept the place and provide payment or decline the place.
  • You can place your child on a waiting list for their first camp preference and also register them fully for a second camp. If a place becomes available on their first camp preference, you can transfer the registration for a small transfer fee. See terms and conditions.
  • Waiting list places are offered in order of registrations received, and you will be contacted if a place becomes available. You will need to respond to us within the set time period outlined to secure the place.
  • We understand that your child’s friends may already be booked on a particular camp. Unfortunately, in order to be fair, no changes can be made to the wait list order for this reason.

FAQs

A team of young, committed, Christian leaders look after the campers throughout camp. All leaders are reference checked, trained in child protection procedures and have completed government child protection requirements. In addition to a Camp Director and young adult volunteer leaders, primary camps also have a ‘camp mum and dad’ to support young campers who may feel homesick.

We open camp registrations online two school terms in advance (e.g. summer camp registrations open at the start of Term 3). You can also sign up for email updates, or follow us on Facebook or Instagram to ensure you don’t miss out on what’s happening at CRU Camps.

Each camp program is unique and as a result prices vary according to the activities included, duration, numbers of participants, accommodation type and associated costs. Be assured that at all times we seek to provide you with the best quality programs at the lowest possible prices.

No. If a place for your child becomes available, we will contact you and request the full camp fee to secure the booking.
